Greetings my friends. I feel like I’ve been away for so long. Apologies. I’ve just been livin’ it up in the real world. Becky nominated me for the Mystery Blogger Award and though I haven’t participated in an award ‘ceremony’ in a while, I figure it’s a good way to pop in and provide some content on this ‘ol blog for those who are itchin’ to hear from me.

Somebody Likes Me

So, if you haven’t noticed, I’ve stopped participating in blogging awards. I love getting nominated and receiving recognition, but I feel like a lot of them, especially the ones you see pretty regularly, have lost their charm due to their high circulation.

So on that note…

Don’t Hate Me, But…

Hey, Hey! Another VBA! That was my poor attempt at rhyming and I promise, it will never happen again (at least not in this context).

My girl Kori over at Rambling Kori nominated me (almost 2 weeks ago!) for yet another Versatile Blogger Award. I feel like I’ve become that person at those award shows that keeps getting their name called over and over and every time they go up to accept the award, the applause dwindles more and more, and they start getting side looks from their peers as if to say, “We get the point already.”

This Just In…

Just kidding. This isn’t breaking news. I’ve been nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award twice in the last week; one from my girl Quinn over at When Do I Get the Manual? and one from Jade at Jaded Mine Fields. Since I’ve been accepting awards left, right, and center, I’m going to combine these two nominations into one post. And because I’ve completed this award a while ago, I’m going to use my same answers, cause, ya know, they haven’t changed any.

I’m Not an Addict… You’re an Addict…

Is there something in the water? I mean, I know it’s awards season with the Emmy’s, the Grammys, the Little Lambies, and the Ham Sammies, but this is getting a little out of hand… But not enough to keep me from posting another award nomination. 😛

The always wonderful Nick over at Nick’s Notions has nominated me for an award I have yet to receive. Now, I don’t know what Nick was trying to say with this Blog-aholic Award, but… well… okay, maybe I do have a problem. That’s the first step, right? Admitting you have a problem…?
