Vacation- Full Stop

I finally had a break and it was glorious. I didn’t have to think about COVID. I didn’t have to deal with aggressive call center callers. I didn’t have to worry about stocking the health bus and running logistics for our test sites. We had a week of sleeping in, eating whatever we wanted, and getting maybe a little too much sun. BEXoxo Does Atlanta

It still baffles me that I’ve been to London and Paris before I made it to the big cities here in the states; even the ones that are within driving distance!

Recently, Fella and I whisked off to Atlanta for a weekend getaway and my first taste of the ATL.

I feel like I should share a tid-bit about us before we continue. We’re football fans, and by football, I mean American football. I’m totally one of those girls who screams expletives at the television screen when ‘my boys’ aren’t performing well and Continue reading

Meatloaf in Manchester

I’m a planner. I like to have a set itinerary. I like to have an idea of where and when I’m supposed to be somewhere, especially on a trip away from home. But you know what? Not in a distraught fashion; it’s more of a depressive state. As a result, my mentality has shifted. Why set myself up for the possibility of being let down? I have taken on more of a ‘go with the flow’ disposition. Continue reading

More Clocks, A Beach, & Meeting The Family

We made it to Newcastle around lunch time and as soon as Fella had a bearing of where we were, he decided the first place to see was his old flat. It was a normal looking end unit apartment on the corner of 2 fairly quiet streets. For purely cognitive purposes, I snapped a quick picture (that’s not weird, right?), and we went on our way. We made it to Newcastle city center where once again we were presented with the frustrating question Continue reading

Reaching Puddle Jumping Status

You guys! I’m finally doing it! I’m hopping on an airplane and headed to a far away land in less than a week! Me! Just a small town girl, 🎶 living in a lonely wooorrrld, took the midnight train…. ahem. Sorry. Got a little carried away. But seriously… I’m heading to England and France; places that I’ve only ever dreamt of visiting, and I’m so stinkin’ excited! Continue reading
